PPV Portal Service Our PPV Portal service allows you to create multiple viewing channels, with mulitple sub-categories to organize your live and on-demand streams with multi-level ppv models. Viewers may purchase full site access, channel access, sub-category access or individual stream access. The Admin Console gives you complete sales and stream statistics. The portal supports silverlight, flash, Real networks and custom players. The Data Structure
The Portal service has a three level data tree; 1. Channels For example, you can have a Channel named "Sports", with sub-categories "Football",
"Baseball", "Basketball" and "Soccer". You then create live and on-demand streams within
each of the sub-categories. The PPV Model
Viewers may purchase access in several different levels of the portal structure; 1. Full Portal Access (all channels) For each of these levels, you can offer the following PPV Model; 1. Pay-Per-View Each Pay-Per-View model has 3 payment options. Two are customizable, the third is
a pay by hour option. An example of how this is used; 1. Annual Pass, 365 days 125 hours maximum Maximum Hours Each PPV Model requires a number of days valid and a maximum number of viewing hours.
The maximum viewing hours feature allows you to figure out profit/loss numbers for each
model and gives your viewers the right to watch whatever they want, within the content
purchased, until either the maximum viewing hours are reached, or they reach the days
valid. Website Intregration
The portal service builds a front page for you automatically via our database system,
with the look and feel of your website or project (banners and pages colors), or you
can intregrate our service onto your own website via URL links to our data features.
Credit cards are processed through our merchant account, or you can use your own
merchant account. CDN Streaming
We provide the Silverlight, Flash and Real Networks players that you can stream
using most any CDN. You assign each stream a player type (Silverlight, Flash, Etc),
if the stream is 16:9 or 4:3 and the stream URL. You can also use a custom player if
desired (requires testing), for example, you may have a custom player that is
provided to you from your CDN. How the Viewing Page Works After ticket authentication, we direct the viewer
to a viewing page that we host. This page is controlled by our security & live manager
components. The player is loaded (from the player type) and it plays the stream URL that
you assign to the stream. We control ticket security, stream encryption (DRM) and/or URL
sharing protection would also be needed, if you desire stronger content security. Such
increased security is available through your CDN, or us. |
