IFrame Tutorial

You may delivery your PPV content via your own website, rather than through the Webcastia Portal service/Website by using IFrames that you can copy and paste from your Webcastia Admin Console. The content IFrames are 200 pix wide, allowing you to place them on the sides of a webpage.

Setting up your account for IFrame use

1. From the Admin Console, goto IFrame Maintenance. Enter the background, text and link url colors. Then enter the website landing page when the Iframes will be placed. This is important, for we tell your viewers where to access your content via the purchase email system and you want them returning to the IFrame landing webpage, not your Webcastia Portal website.

2. The IFrame code to copy and paste is located as follows: Full content - Admin Console, IFrame Maintenance screen. A Channel's content - Group/Category/Event Maintenance, Channel Edit Screen for the Channel you wish to add to your webpage. A Sub-Categories content - Group/Category/Event Maintenance, Channel List, Category Edit Screen of the cagetory you wish to add to your website.

3. To use the IFrame system, you will need to have Images assiged to the Channels, Categories, and Events. The Channel and Cagetory images are 200 pix wide (jpg gif png), and the event iframe image is 640 pix wide.
