What We Charge

PPV Portal Setup

If you want a fully functioning PPV Portal with multiple channels and access to the admin console, we charge a one-time setup - build fee that includes providing the look and feel of your website and/or project and a ppvportal.com web address. This service setup fee is usually $2500.

There are no setup fees for streaming through our Co-Op Portal, but you do not have the look and feel of your website and/or project and no access to an admin console - you use our ppv portal.

Ticketing Gateway

We charge a per ticket processing fee for every ticket sold. This includes the credit card gateway, viewer authentication, security, the viewing page, and other portal features. This fee usually ranges anywhere between 20% down to as low as 8% determined by gross revenues and special requirements.

A minimum fee may be required for live events. For example, we may require a minimum fee of $2000 in which we take the first $2000 earned, then the percentage agreed upon after the $2000. This allows us to set you up without up front fees, but also protects us against failed ventures.

In most cases, fees for live events are custom to the project and detailed in the service contract.

On-Demand DRM is charged a fee per ticket purchased. Live DRM is quoted per event.

CDN Viewer Bandwidth is charged the hour, per ticket sold. The per hour rate at 500Kbps could range from .08 cents to .20 cents. For example, if your hourly rate is .12 and you sell 3 hours of viewing per ticket, your bandwidth cost per ticket would be .36 cents.

Sample Project Pricing

Lets say you are selling tickets to a live event that is 3 hours long. The ticket price is 10 dollars. You expect a few thounds viewers and we have quoted the following;

1. .50 cents per ticket transaction, for Gateway
2. 15% of the ticket price, for Gateway
3. 2% of the ticket price, for live support operators
4. .12 cents per hour for bandwidth

Ticket Price: 10.00
Flat Rate Gateway: - .50
% Rate Gateway: - 1.50 (15%)
Support Coverage: - .20 (2%)
Bandwidth (3 Hours): - .36
TOTAL COST: - 2.56 (25.6% of ticket price)
Your Take: 7.44 (74.4% of ticket price)

With the claim of selling 2,000 tickets, we gear up to provide excellent service to both you and your viewers, which costs us money. So, we would usually include a minimum for our fees of lets say $2,500. In the case where ticket sales are low, we would take the first $2,500 of revenue. This minimum is determined on a individual event basis and varies due to size of the event and the potential to sell tickets.
